Founded in 2013, the Canyon High School Hall of Fame was organized as a way of maintaining the rich heritage and tradition of successful programs at Canyon High School.  In addition, it serves as a means of recognizing, preserving, and honoring the students, athletes, faculty, and individuals who made significant contributions to the greater community.  Many individuals have been influential in the “Comanche Tradition” of excellence and have had exemplary accomplishments during, and after, their time at Canyon High School.  The Hall of Fame honors the contributions and accomplishments of these individuals who are worthy of recognition as examples for others to emulate. 

The Canyon High School Hall of Fame recognizes, preserves and honors individuals who exemplify the Comanche Tradition of Excellence. Please join us as we celebrate the 2017 inductees: 



Each year the Canyon High School Foundation selects a Fund A Need that will enhance student experience and address an area of the school needing updates. The 2017 Fund A Need is the Renovation of the CHS Gymnasium. 

Renovation of the CHS Gymnasium Goals: 

  1. Remove broken and used equipment
  2. Paint Doors, Walls, Acoustics, & Ceilings
  3. New Entryway Rugs
  4. Update CIF & League Banners
  5. Update Lighting to LED
  6. Resurface Bleachers 

The Canyon Athletic Department is current working with the district to obtain quotes and vendors for these services. If you are in a position to support the Fund A Need, by sponsoring or donating services/materials and would like more information, please contact Athletic Director, Mrs. Higuera (

Eden Espinosa - Best known for her role as Elphaba in the Broadway musical Wicked, she has also appeared in several prominent television and theater productions around the world.

Doug Neely - Was the 1983 Orange County and CIF Men's Soccer Player of the Year while at Canyon. Following his collegiate playing career, he was drafted by the New England Revolution and played professionally for 15 years.
